Every summer, Galleri Maria Friis curates a group show under the theme “Dreams and Desires” – each year with a different subtitle, inviting the artworks to explore the theme in their own distinctive ways. This year’s exhibition explores the feeling of breathing the summer air – the sensation of pollen tickling your tongue, altering every taste. Everything tastes different during summer. And during the long nights, you find yourself longing for more. You feel an insatiable desire to bite a loved one.
