Nour Fog

Nour Fog is known for their innovative approach to ceramics, integrating elements like sound, smoke, and movement to enhance the sensory experience. These technical components evoke mood changes and sensuality, bringing a new dimension to traditional ceramics. With a non-binary perspective, Fog challenges established iconography and cultural norms related to ceramics, exploring themes of gender politics, body, and sexuality. This exploration manifests in the organic forms of Fog’s sculptures, which utilize scale shifts and experimental glazes.

Fog’s notable exhibitions include solo shows at Møstings Hus and Overgaden, and they have received the prestigious Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Talent Award for sculptors. Through their work, Fog aims to promote a more fluid and adaptable understanding of the world, pushing the boundaries of both the ceramic medium and societal expectations.
