Excerpt from the exhibition text:

There is a distinct literary thread in Jytte Høy’s artistic practice, especially in her work on the project Words Found More Added, which she initiated in 2011. Here, selected text passages – ranging from Sappho’s fragments to contemporary literary works – form the basis for the creation of the works. Høy’s self-imposed dogma in the production of art objects for the series involves a careful selection of a wide variety of text excerpts. Once the sentences are chosen, they are responded to with new sentences, and finally, spatial works are created to accompany the texts; words are transformed into objects.
