Galleri Maria Friis are pleased to announce that Al Masson, Nanna Starck & Tore Hallas are a part of the group exhibition Other Body at Fuglsang Art Museum, DK.
The exhibition opens today, March 23rd 2025, and is on view until August 17th 2025.
Other Body is a group exhibition with nine established Danish and international contemporary artists. It is about the connection between emotions and bodies and the works treat, express and evoke emotions.
The exhibition deals with having a body that makes life difficult and about the feelings associated with having such a body. It is an exhibition about being human and feeling sadness, pain, trauma, self-hatred, powerlessness and anger because of one’s body. The works show the other side, which is often kept hidden, and the negative emotions that can knock us down bodily – or which can sometimes spill out of the body uncontrollably.
