Galleri Maria Friis are pleased to announce the representation of UK-based artist Nina Saunders. Saunders was exhibited at Galleri Maria Friis in 2024 with her sculptural installation, ‘History is Slow’, in the context of the gallery’s annual summer show DREAMS & DESIRES.

Saunders was earlier this year featured in the Danish TV-show Kunstnerkolonien 2025 on DR. The show brings together six renowned Danish artists in an artists’ colony and follows each of their unique artistic processes. The works from the TV-show are currently exhibited at Nivaagaards Malerisamling.

The exhibition Kunstnerkolonien at Nivaagaard’s Malerisamling is presented in collaboration with DR and Eddy Media.

Visitors can experience the artworks created during the show, including three works by Saunders, at Nivaagaard’s Malerisamling until 15th of June, 2025.
