We’re pleased to announce that Nanna Starck opens her solo exhibition at Ringsted Galleriet next Saturday, April 25th 13.00 – 16.00.

The exhibition is curated by Heidi Hove and Morten K. Jacobsen and is on view until the 6th of June. 

When Nanna Starck invites audiences into her universe, it is unfiltered and uncompromising. Bodies are everywhere, but not the idealized bodies we encounter on advertising billboards in public space. In Starck’s work, another reality emerges. It reveals what happens when things fall apart, when it hurts, when the body ages. Every figure appears to carry symptoms, traces of illness, trauma, aging, or other taboo conditions.
