Luna Scales at CAFx: Every Bodies
We are proud to present Luna Scales as part of the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial’s seminar series And So We Create Different Rhythms. At the event Every Bodies, Scales will show a video work and do a live reading, exploring how the body is seen, described, and moved within cultural and medical frameworks.
Working primarily with video, Scales uses slow motion and staged gestures to question the clinical gaze and its effect on subjectivity. Her practice highlights moments of care, vulnerability, and resistance, making space for alternative readings of the body beyond “normal” or “functional.”
The event takes place on 24 September at CAFx, Halmtorvet 27. Admission is free.
