Every summer, Galleri Maria Friis curates a group show under the overarching theme Dreams and Desires – each year with a new subtitle, inviting the artworks to explore the theme in their own distinctive ways.
This year, we ask: What happens to visibility when what is hidden comes to the surface? And conversely, what becomes of what we hide away as visibility grows? For this edition of DREAMS & DESIRES, we’ve chosen to look at The Hidden – presenting works that explore the covert, the covered, or the quietly concealed.
